We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our professional team in Berlin, Germany. This position plays a vital role in maintaining and repairing a wide variety of vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will diagnose vehicle issues, perform maintenance and repairs, and provide excellent customer service to maintain our reputation for quality and reliability.
Your responsibilities will include inspecting vehicles to identify mechanical problems, conducting routine servicing such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations, and repairing or replacing faulty components. You will use advanced diagnostic equipment and manufacturer-specific software to troubleshoot complex issues related to engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and safety features. Communicating clearly with customers and service advisors to explain technical problems and recommended repairs is a key part of this role.
We expect the ideal candidate to have a thorough understanding of automotive mechanics, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. ASE certification or equivalent European automotive certifications are highly desirable. You should be familiar with safety regulations and committed to maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment.
In addition to technical expertise, you will contribute to improving service processes by providing feedback on common vehicle issues and suggesting preventative maintenance strategies.
