Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to join our dynamic team in Victoria, Australia. This role is critical in supporting the overall HR function by managing various employee lifecycle processes and ensuring a positive, productive workplace environment. As an HR Specialist, you will work closely with leadership, employees, and external partners to foster a culture of engagement, compliance, and continuous improvement.

In this role, you will be responsible for a broad range of HR activities including recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws and company policies. You will collaborate with hiring managers to attract and select top talent, coordinate interviews, and ensure a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience for new hires.

Your daily tasks will involve resolving employee inquiries and concerns with professionalism and discretion, facilitating training and development programs, and maintaining accurate HR records and documentation. You will also support performance review processes by coordinating evaluations and providing guidance on goal setting and feedback. Managing payroll and benefits enrollment in collaboration with payroll providers will be part of your responsibilities to ensure employees receive accurate and timely compensation.

The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of employment legislation in Australia, and the ability to balance multiple priorities efficiently. You should have experience in conflict resolution, employee engagement strategies, and HRIS (Human Resource Information System) management. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a collaborative mindset are essential in navigating the diverse needs of the workforce and business objectives.

In addition to administrative duties, you will have the opportunity to contribute to HR policy development and initiatives aimed at improving organizational culture, diversity and inclusion, and employee well-being. Your input will be valued in shaping programs that enhance workplace satisfaction and productivity.

We offer a supportive and inclusive work environment where your expertise can directly impact the success and growth of the company. This position is perfect for someone passionate about human resources and eager to advance their career in a forward-thinking organization based in Victoria.
